Luna & Gaia are jumping on the sofa singing along, loudly, to the Ramones’s Rock & Roll High School DVD.

A fellow crafter, Liz from Playing Hooky Designs, tragically lost her 5 year old daughter. You can read more here.
Nicole from Boomers Beanies in Facebook is having an auction filled with TONS of amazing products that designers and crafters have donated to help raise money for Liz’s family.
Please please please head on over and bid on something. I donated a skein of yarn which you can already begin to bid on. Please show this family some love during this amazingly difficult time.
Also, please spread this post around. If the winner of the skein of yarn ends up being from my Tumblr or FB page, I will throw in a special surprise along with the skein of yarn: every pattern I’ve ever made AND every pattern I will ever make into the future. Just post in the comment section of the auction for the skein of yarn that you came from here.
Thank you and please pass the love around.

One thing NYC doesn’t have is decent Cuban food, which I’ve been missing VERY much since I got here.
So my kick ass sister back in Miami sent a surprise care package overnight which arrived early this morning. I almost fainted.
Nothing really tops Cuban pastries and a no-joke-hold-onto-your-life-colada (cuban espresso).
NOMS!!!!!!!!!
Two halloween’s ago my dear friend Helen asked me to make her a sandworm amigurumi to go along with her costume. The babies LOVED it and I swore I’d make it again. A little time has passed and now the babies are in need of scarves so I decided to change it up a little so that it’s more functional. The pattern is finished and is up here. My ode to Tim Burton. <3
What do you guys think?
Why didn’t anyone tell me what a fantastic show Dr. Who is??? I feel very late to the party. But better late than never!
