7 skeins hanging out to dry. I hate this part of the process…takes for ever and the yarn always looks crappy until it’s fully dry. TICK TOCK TICK TOCK!

These are the last two hanks that are currently hanging out to dry. The orange is for a special lady who mentioned to me how much she liked orange. :)

This is pretty cool…embroidery thread that changes color in the sunlight.

So, here I am in Rehoboth Beach for the holiday weekend when DH comes and gifts me with a little trinket: an ankle bracelet (oy!) made with with solar thread.  Even though I my ankle bracelets days were left in the eighties I was pretty entertained with the thread changing colors like a mood ring.
I’m not having any designing ideas for it, I swear.  Nevertheless I’m amused in a a kitsch kind of way.
