These are the last two hanks that are currently hanging out to dry. The orange is for a special lady who mentioned to me how much she liked orange. :) thoughts? Zoom

This is pretty cool…embroidery thread that changes color in the sunlight. bonitapatterns: So, here I am in Rehoboth Beach for the holiday weekend when DH comes and gifts me with a little trinket: an ankle bracelet (oy!) made with with solar thread.  Even though I my ankle bracelets days were left in the eighties I was pretty entertained with the thread changing colors like a mood ring. I’m not having any designing ideas for it, I swear.  Nevertheless I’m amused in a a kitsch kind of way. (via MUTR Teaching Resources - Solar active thread (coloured) - Fabrics and Fibres)
